The word Museum has been derived from “Muse” i.e., to wonder and get inspiration from a creative work.
Museums are of various kinds. Some have only dolls on display, others may be having historical artifacts and yet others may be devoted to art, paintings, jewellery, arms, utensils, tribals, musical instruments and many such things.
Some museums may provide the visitors the opportunity to experiment by running machines with a press of button. Some museums may be dedicated to sports, space ventures, architecture or wars. Delhi has a museum for the Railways and another for dolls. St. Louis in the United States has a museum only to depict man’s struggle to rise high in the sky. It stands by the Great Arch of St. Louis which is 620 feet high and one can travel inside the arch.
