University of Malaya Honors MWL Chief with Honorary Doctorate in Political Science

The University of Malaya (UM) has awarded an honorary doctorate in political science to Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars. This recognition celebrates his remarkable contributions to Islamic diplomacy. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim attended the ceremony, underscoring the significance of Al-Issa’s achievements. UM Pro-Chancellor Dr. Aishah Ong commended Al-Issa as a distinguished figure with substantial religious influence and widespread respect in the Islamic world.
