Aligarh: The Executive Committee of Aligarh Muslim University Teachers’ Association (AMUTA) has expressed deep sense of shock and grief over the loss of lives and damage to properties in the aftermath of unprecedented flood and landslides caused by the torrential rain in Uttarakhand. Dr. Aftab Alam, Secretary, AMUTA said that the Executive Committee of the teachers’ body offered heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families, shared their sorrow and wished the injured a speedy recovery. Aligarh Muslim University has already sent a medical team to help mitigate the suffering of the stranded pilgrims.
