Bengaluru: ‘Anmol Sahara’, a home for the aged women was inaugurated on November 24 on Shampur Main Road. It has been set up by M. D. Group and Zubaida Sulaiman Educational and Charitable Trust. The Home occupying a full floor of an apartment has capacity to accommodate around two dozen inmates. It has a warden and a nurse to take care of the old and infirm inmates. M. D. Group Chairman Younus Mohammad Sait, speaking on the occasion said, the success of the institution will prompt them to take up a similar institution for the aged males. Imam Ahmed Raza Movement coordinated with the M. D. Group in realizing the goal of establishing such an institution, Sait added.
