HYDERABAD: A mosque in Jalpally, located south of Hyderabad, has initiated a groundbreaking project in collaboration with the Helping Hand Foundation (HHF) to establish a Free Bridge School for children from underprivileged families who have dropped out of primary and middle school. This innovative initiative, hosted at Masjid E-Rehmat-E-Alam on Pahadi Shareef Road, Jalpally Gate, Opp Al-Ashraf Unani Hospital, aims to provide educational opportunities to children who would otherwise not have access to schooling.

The inaugural batch of the Bridge School comprises 110 students ranging from primary to secondary levels, hailing from nearby slum areas. The school boasts qualified teachers and counselors who have designed a tailored syllabus specifically for bridge schooling, ensuring that students receive the necessary education to bridge the gap in their learning. Additionally, the program offers free transportation for the students and provides a midday snack consisting of boiled eggs and bananas to ensure proper nourishment for the children from impoverished and marginalized backgrounds.
