The concept is to develop sports standard in schools and colleges who have shown commendable results in the field of sports, but may not have adequate infrastructure of their own. Under the above scheme, Jamia will be conducting selection for Athletics, Football and Hockey from February 04-06, 2013. Boys in the age group of 12 to 18 years are eligible to appear in the trials. Students other than those studying at Jamia can also take part in the trials. The trials will be held at the TTI Ground, Faculty of Education, Jamia Millia Islamia from February 04, 2013.
