Gautam Adani, India’s billionaire with a diverse empire spanning ports, airports, media, and energy, is rapidly building the world’s largest renewable energy park in the desert along the Pakistan border. The $2.3-billion Khavda Renewable Energy Park is set to cover 726 square kilometers, generating 30 gigawatts of solar and wind energy when completed in 2027.
