New Delhi: The Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, an autonomous Organisation of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is conducting an essay competition on the eve of the 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Two categories of students are eligible to participate, i.e., 1-those studying from 9th to 12th grade, and 2-those enrolled in Recognised Colleges and Universities. For the first category the topic is Dr. Ambedkar’s views on : Education Empowerment of Youth (length 2000 words). For the second category, the topic is: Ensuring Entitlements in Welfare Economics: The Thoughts and ideas of Dr. Ambedkar (length 3,500 words).The essays can be written in either Hindi or English. In the first category, there will be three prizes each in two languages of Rs. 25,000, Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000. In the second category, there will be three prizes each in two languages of Rs. one lakh, Rs. 50,000, and Rs. 25,000.
