Hyderabad: Firoz Bakht Ahmed, who served as a teacher at the Jagdish Tytler Public School for nearly three decades, has been nominated as the Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) for a period of 3 years. He is the fifth Chancellor of the University and has succeeded Zafar Sareshwala. Firoz Bakht is a prolific writer. He has authored many books in Urdu and Hindi, specially on Children’s Literature. He was also associated with Madrasa Modernisation and Urdu medium schools upliftment.
