Nalla Muhammad Abdul Jameel

Nalla Muhammad Abdul Jameel, 47, an imam from India and an Islamic preacher was ordered to be repatriated to India by the Government of Singapore on April 2 for preaching hatred against Jews and Christians. He was proved guilty by a court, of promoting enmity between communities and was fined Singapore Dollars 4,000 (equivalent to US $ 2,850) and repatriation to his home country. Singapore has been strict in implementing law against promotion of hatred and enmity and courts have been handing down stiff punishment to the violators. Jameel paid the fine.
