This refers to a very pleasant news, “Visually impaired Muslim Girl recites Bhagavad Gita by heart,” in Islamic Voice, March 2016. This gives a message to learn a lesson from a 7 year old, Rida Zehra. It clearly shows that our goal is to share the wisdom and spirituality of the Gita with all children whether it is Gita or the Quran. The Gita is the same as the Quran. They both came from the God/Allah. They have different stories, but with the same principles. The Bhagavad Gita is a Hindu scripture and Rida’s parents are open minded enough to let her read the scripture. Today, parents should encourage their children to learn about all religions. May God/Allah bless her and her family with good health and fortune.
