Thoughts on Hijab
Often, a true struggle starts if and when a Muslim girl decides to start wearing a hijab, because of which she has sometimes to face taunts. The question arises that does her wearing a simple cloth make her different as a human being? Does she not drink the same water as everyone else? Does she not like going for shopping and eating the same food as others? Does she not breathe in the same air and get shade under the same trees? People may choose to dress differently, but do remember, as human beings, we all have an immense lot of things in common.
