Hyderabad: Nineteen of the 30 students who passed the Plus Two exam from the Hyderabad Institute of Excellence (HIE) cracked the IIT-JEE Mains 2018. In a press note, the HIE said the number represents 65% of the candidates who passed out of the portals of the Institute this year. The students who cracked the IIT-JEE are: Md. Qayyum, Md. Umar Farooq, P. Srinidhi, Md. Salman, Md. Faiz, Imdad Ali, Sk. Abdul Rasheed, Sk. Md. Shoaib, Khaja Abyan Ahmed, S. H. Reddy, Attar Haneef, Sk. H. Rahaman, Md. Abdul Sabooruddin, Sk. Sadiq Rasool, G. Bhardwaj, Tupakula Rohith, Sk. Rasool, K. Karunakar, and Md. Amir Khan. This was the fifth batch of plus two students passing out from the HIE, the note added. IIT-JEE (Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Exam) enables entry of students into 16 IITs across the country, premier institutes imparting engineering and technology courses.
