Bengaluru: The Abbas Khan College for Women organized the Women’s Day Celebration on March 8 in the college campus. Prof Nishat Khalida Parveen, Principal of the Abbas Khan Degree College for Women and Prof Nadira Sultana Basti, Principal of the Abbas Khan PU College for Women and the entire team of faculty and students put up a very inspiring programme which included a cultural skit titled “Mujhe Jeene Do.” This play was directed by Prof Sabiha Zubair Khan, HOD of the Urdu department of the college. The past principals of the college were also felicitated at this programme. The college is one of the success stories of the Central Muslim Association (CMA) of Karnataka, and is a ray of hope for hundreds of students from the under privileged sections of society, to pursue their education
