Rida Rahman, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, M.G. colony, Bangalore, has scored 10 out of 10 in class tenth CBSE examination 2013-14, with cumulative grade point average (CGPA): 10/10. Daughter of Ms. Saira Nasreen, divisional operations manager, construction, in South Western Railways, Rida dreams of becoming a doctor. Speaking to Karnataka Muslims, Rida said, “I love taking challenges. It is easy to achieve goals if you have strong will power”. She also thanked her parents for motivating her at every point of time. “Education is the basic right of every child and there should not be any differentiation based on gender”, says her mother. n
