Bengaluru: The 200-room Working Women’s Hostel of the Hameedsha Dargah Management Committee is nearing completion and is likely to be commissioned soon after the Karnataka Assembly elections which are due on May 12. The 5-storeyed structure is ready after finishing and is awaiting furnishing. Builder Janab Ziaulla Sheriff, chairman, India Builders Corporation undertook the construction which stands on the land under the Dargah premises in Cubbonpet in the heart of Bengaluru. The Hostel will accommodate the single women coming from various cities to the city which has emerged as the largest Information Technology hub in the last two decades. The Dargah Committee looks after the commercial complex built on the land under the mausoleums of Hazrath Hameedsha and Hazrath Muhib Shah, two saints contemporary to the martyred Mysore Ruler Tipu Sultan. It also runs an Industrial Training Institute and added a free dialysis centre last month.
