Bhopal: Foundation stone was laid here for the first ever Haj House in Madhya Pradesh by Chief Minsiter Shivaraj Singh Chauhan on April 30. The Haj House will come up at Singar Choli village in the outskirts of the city. Muslim scholar Peer Saiyid Mian read out the Quranic verses prior to the foundation stone laying ceremony. State Haj Committee chairman Sanawar Patel, Shahar Qazi Syed Mushtaq Ali Nadvi were present at the occasion. Chief Minister assured that the BJP government in the state would assist the minorities by creating opportunities in education and employment. The Haj House has been designed by architect Mahboob Hussain.
