M. Kaleemulla, Urdu writer and former Education Department officer died in Bangalore on April 25. He was 68.
Mr. Kaleemulla was ailing for some time. He occasionally wrote on issues in Muslim education in several newspapers and was an active member of the Centre for Contemporary Studies. During his official tenure he was deputed in Raj Bhavan in Bangalore for a few years. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
