Jamia Milia Vice-Chancellor Najeeb Jung

Jamia Milia Vice-Chancellor Najeeb Jung has been appointed to the ‘Expert Committee’ to consider Backwardness of the States and develop a composite Development Index of States. The committee has been constitute by the Ministry of Finance of Government of India. It will consider backwardness of the States in terms of measures like distance of the State from the National average under criteria such as per capita income and other human development indicators. The committee has been given two months to submit its report.
