Syed Zameer Pasha, IAS-retired, who retired from the Karnataka Government service on June 29, 2012 joined the Indian National Congress at a public meeting of the party in Bangalore on March 18. Others joining the party at the venue included Mr. Shankar Bidari, former DG-IGP of the State and Prof. Radhakrishna, former principal of the Seshadripuram College and Jain community leader Amrit Lal Jain. Pasha who retired as principal secretary in Karnataka Government, had been weighing options for the last nine months. Prof. Radhakrishna was earlier member of the Janata Dal Secular.
